Driftline

A game about words that keep moving.

Driftline explores what happens when language is limited, shared, and released from private ownership.

Driftline is about limited language. Players do not open a keyboard and say anything they want. They work inside rotating Word Banks, choosing fragments that can become one line.

Limitation changes the feeling of creation. It makes writing safer, stranger, and more atmospheric. A small set of words can become playful, uncertain, or unexpectedly precise.

A conversation in Driftline is not a private exchange. It becomes a shared artifact. One player begins a path, another adds a line, and others continue it until the path completes.

The app explores how meaning changes when words pass through many people. Nobody owns the conversation. Everyone briefly carries it.
